Management responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, coordinating the activity of a regional team of 6 contractors across Central Europe, covering business units in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria (action plans, running Gallup, reporting, etc)
- Conceiving, organizing and sustaining periodic trainings for the team in order to develop a good team understanding of the emerging technologies
- Motivation of the IT team through attitude and specific tools
IT Infrastructure responsibilities:
- Responsible for continuously improving the business infrastructure, within defined technology computing areas following globally given standards according to Mars strategy. My job makes life easier for up to 1000 colleagues.
- Participating in process identification, feasibility analysis, and implementation of new technical solutions, testing, quality assurance and documentation.
- Managing budget of approx. 0.5 million €, planning accurate capital and revenue budgets, managing spend and improving financial control.
- I am Regional Server Technology Representative and Project leader for Central Europe and CIS for high impact deployments like Domino 8, Windows Server 2008 and Exchange 2007.
- Initiating and leading server consolidation and VMWare virtualization in the region reducing by 40% the total number of servers, bringing business benefits of 1 mil. €.
- As a leader of the Issues Management group for the Central Europe and CIS region and accountable for the Change Management process, I contributed to a 2% decrease of the no. of incidents in the region
