For the 3G embedded systems project that was launched this year, Pentalog has already gathered some of the best specialists in this field of wireless technologies. Along with its well-known partner, the important worldwide mobile player ST-Ericsson, the Pentalog team has set an ambitious objective: to offer our customers the greatest possible leverage for their software investments and to reduce their IT infrastructure costs.
The 3G Project is an extension of our 2G Project that has been successfully running for over 2 years now. For this reason, Pentalog is looking for the best experts in the GSM technical area, for 3 different areas:

- Audio Software;
- Hardware, Power & Integration;
- Telecom Integration;

For Telecom 3G Embedded Software division, we are searching for a communicative, self-driven and reliable team player for the Team Leader position in Sibiu. In this role you will be involved in the following activities:
- Lead a team of 15 engineers that is providing maintenance of customer 3G mobile phone solutions;
- Lead the implementation of new customer requirements/functionalities;
- Manage priorities and task distribution inside the team;
- Manage the interface with the customer;
- On site support on customer’s premises in case of emergency situation.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge and experience working with cell phone technology (GSM/UMTS or other similar technology);
- Strong knowledge and experience in the Layer 2/3 part of the UMTS/GSM protocol stack (or other similar technology);
- Strong knowledge in programming languages such as: Embedded C, C, Assembler;
- Strong microprocessors architecture knowledge: different operating modes, interrupt handling, peripherals, registers handling;
- Experience with Real Time Operating Systems;
- Clear-case versioning system knowledge is an advantage;
- Minimum of 5 years technical experience;
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a team leader/project manager;
- English is a must, French is an advantage;
- Good communication skills are required;
