For a project based on social networking functions, know how management and human resources, Pentalog is looking to recruit a Business Analyst. Under the direction of the technical department, you will work closely with users and development team. The Business Analyst will be located in our offices in Bucharest.

Under the direction of the technical department, you will work closely with users and development team. The Business Analyst will be located in our offices in Bucharest.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate requirements using all kind of meetings (interviews, requirements workshops), document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts.
- Communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements
- Work independently with users to define concepts and under direction of project managers
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Serves as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
- Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Cerinte:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (especially when the interlocutors are situated in different locations).
- Previous experience as a business analyst would be appreciated.
- Good knowledge of social networks functionalities.
- Excellent organization and teamwork.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude required.
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field required.
- Fluency in English, French is a plus.

Pentalog recruteaza peste 50 colaboratori in lunile urmatoare 29 Octombrie 2009 |
Activitatea comerciala foarte activa a ultimelor saptamani ne-a determinat sa acceleram planul propus, de vreme ce 30 dintre recrutarile prevazute trebuiesc finalizate inainte de finalul acestui an:
- In Franta (Orléans): directori de proiect, sefi de proiect, consultanti tehnici si functionali. Aceste persoane trebuie sa aiba foarte bune cunostinte de engleza si o mobilitate internationala deosebita.
- In Romania si Moldova: aproximativ 35 persoane. Avem posturi de validare, de dezvoltare embedded, dezvoltare de gestiune, web commerce, administrare de retea, posturi de consultanti tehnici si functionali, de BPO (call / back office)
- In Vietnam: dezvoltatori de aplicatii web si testeri
Pentalog a consacrat anul acesta 500000 € pentru formare, adica 4% din cifra sa de afaceri, situandu-se la nivelul celor mai prestigioase societati din domeniul editarii de soft si consulting. Este cert ca, indiferent de locatie, colaboratorii Pentalog trebuie sa fie mobili. Anul acesta, ei au avut misiuni pentru clienti din Germania, Franta, Romania, Moldova, India, Anglia, Spania, Finlanda, Suedia, Coreea, Elvetia, Austria, Croatia, Vietnam …
Angajamentul fata de clientii nostri este unul foarte puternic. Multi dintre acestia au externalizat catre noi intre 80 si 100% din activitatile lor de R&D soft. Pozitia nostra este recunoscuta de catre statul francez cu care am dezvoltat un parteneriat in cadrul politicii sale de sustinere a inovatiei.
Ne plac foarte tare persoanele care vorbesc multe limbi . Trilingvismul integral este o norma la noi acasa (mai mult de 60% din efectiv). Cresterea nostra interna este de 50% in 2009. Efectivul nostru a trecut de la 290 la 400 de colaboratori in 9 luni si va atinge 500 pe parcursul anului 2010.

Based on specifications received from Belgium business analyst, I had the next responsibilities:
- technical analysis
- time estimation needed for implementation
- planning and tasks dispatch to development team
- verified if the work is well done and ensured the timing delivery of clients requests.
Software application used to “score” a company before giving them a loan or leasing.
The project contains 4 distinct modules:
1. client: web interface: queries about company, max 2 persons linked to company (consultation - physical and moral persons) and the identification number(s) of the contract(s), having as answer the scoring; LDAP authentication ;
2. Communication with Graydon server for financial info and “graydon score” about the company and companies linked to this one;
3. server: communication with Nation Bank of Belgium (NBB)(using application R2D2) , Lease Base, Flora using JMS (Java Message Service) technology - IBM MQSeries tool - to check the other contracts that company, linked companies and persons identified in company could already have at PSA;
4. server : Examine the information, according to internal parameters and scoring algorithms will accept or block the new contract(s) .

Unul din clientii nostri, o companie de asigurari multinationala integreaza in echipa sa un Inginer de sitem - baze de date.
Responsabilitati:
- îsi desfasoara activitatea în Directia Centrala, sub coordonarea Sefului Serviciu Hardware si Telecomunicatii;
- asigura disponibilitatea, capacitatea, continuitatea si securitatea sistemului baze date MS SQL;
- planifica, implementeaza, verifica si actualizeaza sistemul de baze de date MS SQL si backup si intocmeste documentatia aferenta.

Pentalog anunta in iunie 2008 lansarea in Romania a unui proiect de anvergura in domeniul dezvoltarii de solutii pentru industria comunicatiilor mobile.
Era pentru prima data cand unul din primii 3 producatori de semiconductori din lume alesese externalizarea activitatii sale de dezvoltare in Romania.
Bazandu-se pe experienta solida in domeniul telecom, ST-Ericsson a mizat pe creativitatea inginerilor din echipa Pentalog pentru imbunatatirea solutiilor sale la toate nivelurile de functionare ale dispozitivelor mobile: de la nivelul superior al protocoalelor de comunicatii pana la nivelul fizic de transmitere a datelor.

Urmare a reusitei proiectului de Customer Support pentru solutiile 2G, ST-Ericsson continua parteneriatul demarat cu Pentalog Technology, prin implicarea echipei noastre in proiectele 3G.
In acest sens, in vederea alcatuirii unei echipe de 20 de persoane, cautam ingineri telecom cu experienta in 3G care pot interveni la urmatoarele niveluri: Hardware Interface, Layer 1, Protocoale, Audio, Integrare sistem si telecom.
Vor fi asigurate training-uri atat direct la sediul ST-Ericsson din Franta, cat si in agentiile Pentalog din Bucuresti si Sibiu. Prin integrarea acestor noi proiecte de inalt nivel tehnologic, Pentalog continua procesul de dezvoltare a Centrului de Excelenta R&D.
Cerinte:
- Absolvent(a) al(a) uneia din facultatile: Electronica si telecomunicatii, Automatica, Stiinta Calculatoarelor
- Limbaje de programare: Embedded C, C, Assembler
- Cunostinte de arhitectura a sistemelor de comunicatii: arhitectura GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS
- Bune cunostinte de arhitectura microprocesoarelor: organizarea si modul de operare, interfatarea, sistemul de intreruperi, pipelining
- Experienta cu sisteme de operare real-time
- Engleza obligatoriu, franceza reprezinta un plus
- Minim 3 ani de experienta in domeniul telecom
